Today, we're looking at three particularly interesting stories. Apple had a solid — though not stellar — quarter, according to the numbers it reported Tuesday. The average U.S. Internet speed is now 7.4 mbps, up a decent 28%t from this time last year, according to Akamai. And Twitter is testing two-step authentication for increased security.
