'Ref Cam' Takes a New Spin on Basketball Games

Before Saturday's basketball game between the Phoenix Mercury and Indiana Fever, WNBA referee Lamont Simpson put on his black slacks and drab officials' shirt. He hung his whistle around his neck and laced up his polished black sneakers

He also donned his "ref cam," a video camera mounted on his head attached to a piece of headgear resembling an eyeglass frame, which recorded the game's action
