Research in Motion (RIM) on Monday sent out press invites for its BlackBerry 10 global launch event. RIM will officially unveil BlackBerry 10 to the public Jan. 30, 2013.
Taking a page from Microsoft's playbook (no pun intended), RIM will be holding events in six different cities:
New York
Toronto
London
Paris
Johannesburg
Dubai
Mashable will be on hand at the New York City event.
With BlackBerry 10, RIM is hoping to reverse course and reassert its position in the smartphone ecosystem.
