
Just like Twitter, it was only a matter of time before Vine became a political platform. On Friday, the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) released what might be the very first political ad to be published on Vine.
In the six-second ad, the NRCC attacks Elizabeth Colbert Busch, democratic candidate for congress in South Carolina, and sister of comedian Stephen Colbert. The ad shows a series of gloomy people in black-and-white, with the words "Colbert Busch and the labor unions mean fewer jobs for South Carolina," with a voice over that reads the same message
