AUSTIN — Depeche Mode used its Tumblr blog Friday morning to announce an exclusive show at the South by Southwest Music Festival on March 15. The long-standing electronic band will play songs from its forthcoming album, Delta Machine.
Yahoo Music will publish video of the show starting on March 26, the day the band's 13th studio album comes out. A video for "Heaven," the first single from Delta Machine hit YouTube in late January and has attracted 3.5 million views (watch below)
To fill the seats at the 8 p.m. show at Brazos Hall, the band's label Columbia Records will launch a ticket lottery on Friday at 12 Noon CT. The drawing will be open to SXSW attendees with platinum and music badges.
